started as a vision of owner Michael Novakovich. He envisioned a place
where people could go and get great personal service with a friendly,
knowledgeable staff,
reliable
nutritional information
and with the best prices around. He set a personal goal that by the time
he was 35 he would have his own store. A store in which the customers
needs would always come first. His dream came true
February 1, 1997
when Healthy Horizons opened its doors.
First located in Highland Indiana, Healthy Horizons is currently located
at
7034
Indianapolis Blvd, Hammond, Indiana.
Just 1 mile north of the old location. We
have an expanded selection of grocery items that include more wheat and
gluten free products, produce, frozen and refrigerated items, and
a full Juice Bar.
This is in addition to the large selection
of vitamins, herbs, bodybuilding and diet aids, books, pet food, health
and beauty aids that we already carried. We are the only store around
that has
steam distillers
for the purest water available. Bring your own jugs or you can buy them
right at the store. We welcome suggestions for new items and if there is
something that you need that we do not carry,
we will do our best to
order it for you.
